Appearance: (Adelian Mendove has very dark brown skin. As she claims she's more dove-like, the markings on her wings tell the story of Mockingbird heritage. She has dark grey, wavy hair that reaches to her shoulders. Her 'human features' tell the story of being built for air as her cheek bones and facial structures are narrow and elven-like even though she has normal human ears. She has a slender frame and, like normal birds, she has a very narrow and brittle bone structure without marrow to allow flight. She is much smaller than the average human, about 4ft 3in. Her wingspan reaches to about 5ft so they kind of bulge out of her back a bit even though she claims them to be nothing but a funky backpack and tries to tie them up with a tangerine cloth in order to keep them hidden which is a very convincing backpack disguise. She wears a long, slightly frilly white, tangerine, skirt with hints of red fade and a matching jacket with a tank top underneath, and short boots. She normally wears a brass bangle or two to match her brass colored eyes. Her tail is hidden under her skirt and reaches down to her knees.)
Personality: (Adelian likes to keep to herself and doesn't tolerate nosey people. Her reasons for this are to keep most people from getting too suspicious of her very 'peculiar' backpack she never seems to remove. She usually likes to keep the fog of mystery swarming around her. She's often found alone, studying or in some quiet place where she knows she won't be bothered. Because of this stand offishness, she is often an easy target to pick on (along with her tiny size) and 'stuck-up' personality. She mostly likes to be the teacher's pets often trying her darnedest to keep mostly A level grades both on and off the battle field. If trees are available, she will always be found in the highest branches reading, studying, or enjoying the view. On the ground, she is very agile and super light on her feet due to her thin bone structure making her almost invisible when she moves to attack. By darkness, Adelian is more of a trickster (And somewhat of a prankster) in her family's 'special talents' kick in She is also, as an average Mockingbird Faunus, prone to tricking people out of things as well as hiding her past as well as she can. She is awesomely stealthy and is often able to slip into and out of a room unnoticed. Thus the prankster attitude, Adelian can be very spunky and fun loving when she is calm or hanging with friends/someone she knows very well.)
Likes: (Very high places to either get away or enjoy the view; reading, studying, being alone, and making the highest grade possible.)
Dislikes: (Children, nosey people/people who ask too many questions, being bothered, being cornered, being mocked, getting caught, and failing grades.)
History: (Averity was born into the average mocking bird family. A well known species for swindling, gangster, mafia, gambling material doing whatever it took to get money or certain jobs done. She became well versed with the family art of thievery as she grew up often doing odd little jobs for herself such as stealing from stores, pulling high robberies with her family and so forth. At the early age of 4 she began her usual 'cart robbing' or swiping a wallet from someone's pocket no matter what side it may lie without being detected. At the age of 12, she was handy in bribery and had the ability to talk herself out of any sticky situation as well as talking almost anyone into doing something for 'the greater good' of her parents' poor farm, the young bird girl would easily sway even the most stingy of people with her big adorable brass eyes! At the age of 15, while she was walking through the streets of Vale with her usual 'back pack' wings wrapped up tightly, She adjusted her hand over her face shrouding the sunlight as it beat down upon her almost as if it was trying to tell her something was up.
She groaned as a cold shiver swept down her spine sensing something was coming for her. She quickly dove behind a nearby wall watching both ways trying not to make a sound as well as putting her stealthy thieving moves to use. She waited for what seemed like an hour, had only been up to thirty minutes only to see a man running with a sack of paper money save a few floating away in the breeze. She smiled deviously as she waited until the area was completely cleared of cops as well as the guy and abruptly began picking up her 'earnings' up until something caught her off guard, a hand upon her arm yanking her forcibly into the air and slightly off her feet also causing the 'backpack' to make a sort of fluttering noise. "HELP! HELP!! THE BAD MAN IS TRYING TO GET ME!! MOMMY! DADDY!!" She yelled knowing full and well her size against this adult red head's wouldn't be pretty to a witnessing public. Despite her being 15, she knew well that it could easily get her out if things.
When nobody came, the guy threw her against the ground yet not hard enough to break her bird-like bones but enough to rattle her. He then grabbed her arms and put her in 'hog-tied' position slapping duct tape across her mouth and tying her arms to her legs all the while she screamed louder and louder. He bent down low to Averity and said, "If you ever want freedom or to see your family again you'll do exactly as I say." He thrust a knife towards her only to stop mere inches from her throat. She glared up at him, brass eyes blazing wondering where the heck everyone had gone and if this wasn't a ruse of itself trying to trick her. "Do we have a deal?" He said somewhat cold, her eyes narrowing even further attempting to see through his lies and look for any sign of a lie... Yet, there were none.
"I know your species is very particular in the ways of getting what you want, now I have a proposition for you. I'll give your parents and the rest of your family back if you pay your father's massive debt to me! The other option is a simple one, I need a youngster like you to infiltrate Beacon Academy, steadily climb the ranks and get me what I want when I want it. You have two years to prepare yourself as well as get an alias, and about three more to get the job done any way you can. It should be enough time to eliminate the head of the school without evidence and as I promised..." He snapped his fingers as a bunch of dark figures appeared upon the rooftops, each of them had a member of the Mockine family." Her eyes widened then narrowed in more of disgust as she eyed this stranger who again snapped his fingers letting the figures vanish along with her family.
She knew that more Mocking birds hid in the shadows but they knew they all owed huge amounts of money of which they couldn't pay to this man. In return, he kept them safe and hidden from the cops allowing them to continue to their traitorous lives. "So, which is it girlie? A, or B?" She looked around for any kind of leverage but knew it would be the end of her dealings as well as her family's art form. Despite her species not being 100% 'family friendly' she took the Beacon one as she knew there would be some time she could train to defeat guys like this. He let out a sinister smile as he cut her ropes and removed the mouthpiece. She attempted to yell at him again but he was gone before she could. She then spent the next year studying other types of avian Faunus' attempting to find her perfect alias.
"Crows? Haha no! Those guys are even more sinister than we are besides they also have no wings! They're all chicken legged... and I'm too small! Swans? Nope, neck too long and no wings. Eagles? Nope, I'm too short." It felt like forever until she finally found and stuck to the Doves, a peaceful bunch, real tree huggers as well as tai-chi pose weirdos, eh well. Better than nothing, right? Every day she would observe their styles, mannerism's as well as their weapons bing light weight and easily hidden for quick combat. She knew this was a perfect fit due to doves having lots of different colors and she could very easily blend in pretending to be a midget or incredibly young. She studied and made quick sketches of stances, poses, agility training methods. She wouldn't admit it but it was actually relaxing and it helped with focus. "Ok, I need a name... Averity is well known, yet nobody has seen me so I don't have to change my looks much. Hm, Adelfi sounds cool! Unfortunately it isn't 'zen' enough... How about Adelian Mendove? Ding ding ding! We have a winner!"
The rest of that year, she spent training in their ways from a good distance, giving herself enough room to move around without being spotted or heard. A short time to learn everything but she was confident she had it down pat enough to get in at least as well as forging the weapon and tossing the failed attempts until she got it right. The next year her tuition was paid by an 'anonymous donor' as she boarded the ship to Beacon.)
Aura Color: (Bronze.)
Semblance: (Her semblance is one of a healer she will later discover that she is able to mend her broken bones or injuries of her teammates. Depending on the weight of the injury, she can only heal a few times to once per day and only if it is an open wound where her magic can effect the blood and antibodies directly.)
Other: (Any other things I forgot to mention go right here.)
Have you read the rules?(Now we can die together)
